ABOUT OUR CHARITY

Houses of plantation workers of Hatton, Sri Lanka
Plantation worker's children education on margin

Our charity is dedicated to extending a helping hand to underprivileged people in Sri Lanka as well as within our local communities. Through the funds collected here, we aim to support underprivileged students in pursuing their higher education by easing their financial burdens, and those who wish may also join us in contributing through annual student sponsorships. We also provide assistance for essential needs such as clothing and Bharatanatyam costumes for estate families in Hatton, as well as financial aid for patients and families facing medical hardships.

In the past, we have proudly supported many causes, including fundraising for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, special needs children, and various community initiatives in Stoke-on-Trent. These experiences inspire us to continue our journey of compassion and service, ensuring that hope and opportunity reach those who need them most.

By contributing, you become a part of this mission — helping underprivileged lives shine brighter, one step at a time.

Dharshanodiyaa's Journey of compassion:

We have undertaken several impactful projects aimed at supporting communities in need through education, medical, clothing drives, and student sponsorships.

Help People,
Our Main Goals

We want to do more and you can help. By committing small fraction of money or your gently used old clothes, consider giving them to those who need it most. Together, these simple acts create a powerful ripple effect, transforming lives and strengthening communities. Every donated garment and every shared lesson is a step toward a world where no one is left behind—where everyone has the chance to live with dignity, learn with purpose, and grow with hope.
